NYNELIVES is an independent, Latinx female-fronted metalcore and alternative rock band based in New York City. Founded by Jordan Nayir and debuting in mid-2025, this BIPOC group brings a fierce, high-energy presence to the underground heavy music scene. Their signature sound blends aggressive alternative metalcore and post-hardcore with driving, modern nu-metal influences. The name "NYNELIVES" reflects the project's core philosophy of overcoming adversity, finding the courage to pursue your best self, and standing firmly for what you believe in.
Since their inception, NYNELIVES has steadily built momentum through a growing catalog of hard-hitting singles and official music videos. Their discography features standout tracks like "Hazard Signs," "What Have I Become," "Armor of Fire," "Saturate," and "Losing Game," which includes a collaboration with Nathanael Pulley. Through their relentless independent hustle and powerful releases, the band continues to carve out their own unique space in the modern metalcore landscape.
